Project Objective
Honeybook was looking for a partner to assist in defining its customer, services, and category. The objective was to foster community building by clearly identifying and describing the Honeybook customer. The company aimed to distinguish its services from other service-based business providers and gig workers while establishing itself as a market leader in a unique category.
Solution
The work with Honeybook highlights the significance of clearly defining a target customer, differentiating services, and positioning within a market to establish industry leadership. I, along with my team, kicked off by engaging with the Honeybook team, customers, investors, and partners, conducting extensive research to understand the mindset of business owners offering contracted services. I recognized the independent spirit driving these individuals and crafted a category and community unique to Honeybook. "Independent Businesses" This came to life with my team through a visual and verbal brand identity applied to all Honeybook touchpoints, including a video campaign.
Outcome
Our continued collaboration with Honeybook is a key component of their brand relaunch in early 2023. Remarkably, the company's valuation surged over 8 times during our involvement.
